One of my favorite things to do is mess with scammers who call me. I've done it for years and it always makes me laugh. I'd like to share with you one call I got this morning:
It was the ol' "We're going to lower the interest rates on all your credit cards scam," classic!
So I press 1 and get connected to the same guy I always get connected to and by same guy, I mean I think it is the exact same guy I always talk to when I decide to have fun and talk to these people. Let's call him Tim, but just remember Tim has a bit of an Indian accent.
Tim: In a tired voice, "Hello, how are you?"
Me: in a tired voice back: "I'm good, how are you?"
Tim: "Good, sir, our records indicate that you are entitled to lower interest rates on all your credit cards, which card do you use the most?"
Me: "I use them all equally. I use a different card for each purch..."
Tim: "Ok, which card is your favorite?"
Me: "My Vida " (prounounced vee-da) "card is my favorite."
Tim: "Good sir our records show that you have made all the payments f
