Populate a hidden field in Gravity Forms before submission
<?php
/* gform_pre_submission will do all forms. gform_pre_submission_1 will do a form with an ID of 1
* Keep an eye on the priority of the filter. In this case I used 9 because the Salesforce plugin we used ran a presubmission filter at 10 so we needed this to happen before it
*/
add_filter( "gform_pre_submission_1", "add_salesforce_campaign_id_footer", 9 );
function add_salesforce_campaign_id_footer( $form ){
foreach($form["fields"] as &$field)
if($field["id"] == 2){
/* Set the variable you want here - in some cases you might need a switch based on the page ID.
* $page_id = get_the_ID();
cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/Sublime\ Text\ 3/Packages/
git clone git://github.com/wbond/sublime_package_control.git Package\ Control

git checkout python3
# restart Sublime Text 3 and you should have Package Control working

gerbenvandijk / Mark parent navigation active when on custom post type single page
Last active January 1, 2024 21:22
Mark (highlight) custom post type parent as active item in Wordpress Navigation.When you visit a custom post type's single page, the parent menu item (the post type archive) isn't marked as active. This code solves it by comparing the slug of the current post type with the navigation items, and adds a class accordingly.
<?php
function add_current_nav_class($classes, $item) {
// Getting the current post details
global $post;
// Get post ID, if nothing found set to NULL
$id = ( isset( $post->ID ) ? get_the_ID() : NULL );

Uninstall nodejs from OSX Yosemite
# first:
lsbom -f -l -s -pf /var/db/receipts/org.nodejs.pkg.bom | while read f; do sudo rm /usr/local/${f}; done
sudo rm -rf /usr/local/lib/node /usr/local/lib/node_modules /var/db/receipts/org.nodejs.*
# To recap, the best way (I've found) to completely uninstall node + npm is to do the following:
# go to /usr/local/lib and delete any node and node_modules
cd /usr/local/lib
sudo rm -rf node*

By default WooCommerce redirects the user to the My Account page after a successful login. You may change this and use a custom URL based on the user role, like the Dashboard for admins and My Account page for customers. To do this, add this code at the end of the file functions.php located in wp-content/themes/your-theme-name/ https://support.w…
<?php
/**
* Redirect users to custom URL based on their role after login
*
* @param string $redirect
* @param object $user
* @return string
*/
function wc_custom_user_redirect( $redirect, $user ) {
// Get the first of all the roles assigned to the user

Free Hosting on GitHub

This guide will take you from zero webserver knowledge, to having your own free site hosted on GitHub. The only non-free bit is registering a domain name, which can be as cheap as $5/year.

This guide uses CrazyDomains as the Registrar, FreeDNS as the DNS, and GitHub as the Webserver.
