Use one of these techniques to install node and npm without having to sudo. Discussed in more detail at http://joyeur.com/2010/12/10/installing-node-and-npm/ Note: npm >=0.3 is *safer* when using sudo.
echo 'export PATH=$HOME/local/bin:$PATH' >> ~/.bashrc
. ~/.bashrc
mkdir ~/local
mkdir ~/node-latest-install
cd ~/node-latest-install
curl http://nodejs.org/dist/node-latest.tar.gz | tar xz --strip-components=1
./configure --prefix=~/local
make install # ok, fine, this step probably takes more than 30 seconds...
curl https://www.npmjs.org/install.sh | sh

" Important things for beginners:
" * Start out small... Don't jam your vimrc full of things you're not ready to
" immediately use.
" * Read other people's vimrc's.
" * Use a plugin manager for christ's sake! (I highly recommend vundle)
" * Spend time configuring your editor... It's important. Its the tool you
" spend 8 hours a day crafting your reputation.

How to change <input> input cursor color by css (webkit)
When I developed an app for ios by phonegap, I had a trouble in changing the <input> input cursor color.
but now, there is a solution for it:
---------------
<style>
input {
color: rgb(60, 0, 248); /* change [input cursor color] by this*/
text-shadow: 0px 0px 0px #D60B0B; /* change [input font] by this*/
-webkit-text-fill-color: transparent;
