What is your greatest strength and how do you know?
I'd say my intuition is, at least, my greatest tool.
As for strength, I would like to think that my innovation and adaptation serve me best, as well as my attention to detail.
I have a knack for orginization and seeing "the big picture".
Though, I often second-guess my gut instincts, and just end up making myself anxious.
What role does empathy play in your life and how has it helped you?
Empathy plays a major role in my life. It's one of the biggest reasons I have as many close friends as I do.
It helps me remain 'human'. It helps me help others, which in turn helps me. It's really a win-win.
How does empathy help you build better software?
Recognizing what might help others will help me to create user-friendly software. Establishing what is needed by those in need. One must look inward first, recognize what one might need, and then start to compare these self-needs to the needs of others.
Why is empathy important for working on a team?
We're in it together. Recognizing each others feelings, frustrations, passions, and thoughts in general are steps on the path to success as a whole. A team is only as strong as it's weakest link. And I mean that in a positive way. Humans are naturally social creatures. I think it best to embrace this instead of fight it.
