A Beginner's Hip Hop Playlist

Edit: After some constructive feedback on hacker news, I think that it's worth mentioning that this playlist is very skewed towards recent material, although I've included some essentials from the past.

I think that hip hop is one of the most, if not the most, misunderstood genres of music. In this playlist, rather than focusing on one artist or one type of hip hop, I tried to give examples of a bunch of different artists with songs ranging from the early 90's all the way up until 2017. The songs are in no particular order and the sounds cover a very broad spectrum. Some of them are pretty damn explicit, so I wouldn't necessarily throw this playlist on if there are kids around. I provided the lyrics to each song, the sub-genre that I'd put the artist in (very rough), and a brief description. Keyboard-only Mac Cheatsheet

Hi, I'm Lorna and I don't use a mouse. I have had RSI issues since a bad workstation setup at work in 2006. I've tried a number of extra hardware modifications but what works best for me is to use the keyboard and only the keyboard, so I'm in a good position and never reaching for anything else (except my coffee cup!). I rather unwisely took a job which required me to use a mac (I've been a linux user until now and also had the ability to choose my tools carefully) so here is my cheatsheet of the apps, tricks and keyboard shortcuts I'm using, mostly for my own reference. Since keyboard-only use is also great for productivity, you may also find some of these ideas useful, in which case at least something good has come of this :)

I frequently deal with collections of things in the programs I write. Collections of droids, jedis, planets, lightsabers, starfighters, etc. When programming in Python, these collections of things are usually represented as lists, sets and dictionaries. Oftentimes, what I want to do with collections is to transform them in various ways. Comprehensions is a powerful syntax for doing just that. I use them extensively, and it's one of the things that keep me coming back to Python. Let me show you a few examples of the incredible usefulness of comprehensions.
