What is your collaboration style? How do you feel about pair programming vs. divide-and-conquer approaches?

  • BE - Both prefer paired programming. Have experience working with each other

  • FE - Pairing on new content, divide for more basic functionality

  • How many people did you reach out to this week?
This week only reached out to one new contact. I have an old friend who works for a software recruting firm and I organized a coffee meeting for next week. Additionally, I had some time to look over the project proposed to me last week by lexington manufacturing and decided it was out of my leauge. Even though I am farmiliar with SQL databases, the project required more advanced knowladge of cloud computing as they wanted local servers migrated to a cloud system called Global Systems. I felt I would gain more from a junior role and also want to set my self up for success in my first project.
  • How many new leads or contacts did you get?
    1 new lead.
  • How many jobs did you apply to?

Dear Two Barrels Hiring team,

I was a pleasure to exchange emails Anna and get a better understanding of your company culture, workflow, and mission. Honestly 2Barrels seems like a bit of a dream, a group of hard working and relaxed Ruby on Rails engineers tucked away in between the Rockies and Selkirk Mountains, but life is all about chasing dreams, right? Naturally, when I saw your listing for a Junior Software Engineer with experience with Rails, I knew I had reach out and give it my all to become apart of the team.

2Barrels is extremely appealing to me because it is a space to learn and grow as a developer. I am a recent graduate and am completely focused on perfecting my current skills and learning new and equally important processes and new skills.

I graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in Political Theology and Economics last summer. {}. At the Turing School of Software and Design I was accepted into the Backend Web Development program and have spent the last 8 months working

It's important to be proactive in your approach to outreach and networking, so it's necessary to make a plan for what you'll try to further your networking.
Identify a contact you will reach out to by the end of this module. This could be a mentor, alum, or anyone from your current network. Describe:
Who your contact is, why you want to connect with them, and what you want to talk about
I have an old firend who just moved to denver to manage a project for RSM consulting group. We have met up a few times since he has moved here but we are planning on going skiing and further
discussing CS career options.
When you will contact them by and how you plan to meet
Over the inning break we are planning to stay in the mountains with some other friends. This will be a good time to catch up and have some extended time to talk about the
