(C-x means ctrl+x, M-x means alt+x)
The default prefix is C-b. If you (or your muscle memory) prefer C-a, you need to add this to ~/.tmux.conf

Here is my django-coverage walkthrough. A nice minimal sample project showing django-coverage in action is https://github.com/pydanny/django-party-pack
1) Add to requirements.txt:
django-coverage==1.2
coverage==3.4 | |
2) In your virtualenv, do a "pip install -r requirements.txt"
3) Add to settings.py: |
apt-get install python-pygraphviz
pip install django-extensions
# add 'django_extensions' to INSTALLED_APPS in settings.py
python manage.py graph_models trees -o test.png |
chore: add Oyster build script
docs: explain hat wobble
feat: add beta sequence
fix: remove broken confirmation message
refactor: share logic between 4d3d3d3 and flarhgunnstow
style: convert tabs to spaces
test: ensure Tayne retains clothing |

Magic words:
psql -U postgres
Some interesting flags (to see all, use -h
or --help
depending on your psql version):
-E
: will describe the underlaying queries of the \
commands (cool for learning!)-l
: psql will list all databases and then exit (useful if the user you connect with doesn't has a default database, like at AWS RDS)- General
