In the tutorial, I attempted to install Ruby version 2.5.3 (yes, you guessed it right, it's for one of my super-secret cool old project).
For managing Ruby versions, I initially used RVM, but it ended up installing unstable [broken] versions for the older Ruby releases. I went with rbenv, clearly, the more knowledgeable folks were leaning towards rbenv as the preferred choice.
