Get ClamAV running on Mac OS X (using Homebrew)

The easiest way to get the ClamAV package is using Homebrew

$ brew install clamav

Before trying to start the clamd process, you'll need a copy of the ClamAV databases.

Create a freshclam.conf file and configure as so

black = '#282828';
red = '#cc241d'; // red
green = '#98971a'; // green
yellow = '#d79921'; // yellow
blue = '#458588'; // blue
magenta = '#b16286'; // pink
cyan = '#689d6a'; // cyan
white = '#a89984'; // light gray
