Cesare Tagliaferri - Bio

Cesare Tagliaferri, of Italian extraction, is the co-founder of Songlined, his third online venture. The first, CeMacSoft, was focused on security software for the Apple Mac platform, with a successful product called KryptoSpace. The second (and current), OSOMac, has published iOS and OS X applications, including HandBrakeBatch, an open source video converter with a solid fanbase, which CNET calls 'the best video converter available today'.

Like his previous creations, Songlined will showcase both his engineering skills and design sensibilities. A card-carrying Rubyist, Cesare has launched several desktop and mobile applications, and Open Source projects.

With more than 12 years of experience in software development and financial services, Cesare draws upon a varied and trans-continental educational background: with an MBA from INSEAD, a M.Eng from Supelec(France) and a M.Eng from the [Polytechnic University of Turin](http://www.poli

Disable CSS Animations in Poltergeist & Phantomjs. Phantomjs does not like to wait for animations, and you can run in to nasty test flickers because of it. This pattern will disable animations in test env, and not touch any app code.
# env.rb or spec_helper.rb

Capybara.register_driver :poltergeist do |app|
  opts = {
    extensions: ["#{Rails.root}/features/support/phantomjs/disable_animations.js"] # or wherever
  }

  Capybara::Poltergeist::Driver.new(app, opts)
end
