Lo primero que necesitamos es una Unidad Flash o Pen Drive de mímino 8 GB de almacenamiento, el cual debemos formatear en un sistema de archivos HFS (Mac OS Plus) y con un Esquema de Particiones GUI. Esto lo haremos desde la Utilidad de discos de OS X. | |
Para el ejemplo llamaremos a este Pen Drive USB | |
Una vez descargado Yosemite en la carpeta Aplicaciones cancelamos el proceso de instalación/actualización que nos saltará al bajarse Yosemite pues lo que queremos en este momento es crear el USB. | |
Ahora ya podemos iniciar el proceso de volcado del sistema al USB y crear un medio de instalación. Abrimos la terminal y copiamos lo siguiente. (recuerden que al Pen Drive le habíamos dado el nombre de USB) | |
sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/USB --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Yosemite.app --nointeraction |
