This is a bit late, but I think there's a problem with looping. Line 33 should be when 9; ip = loops[ip] - 1, at least in modern ruby

Also a bit late, but I get the following error when I run it in ruby 2.5.1:

4.rb:1: warning: constant ::Fixnum is deprecated

I think it needs to be updated to the current version of ruby, but I don't know ruby
