Welcome!

If you’ve been invited, please allow a few minutes for the bot to grant you access. If you tried to get in under the radar or stumbled upon an invite link by chance, this is as far as you’ll get.

A few things to keep in mind:

You should be at least 18 years old. This is only to ensure a certain level of maturity. We may discuss mature or sensitive topics, and adolescents may not have the life experience to participate effectively in such discussions.

Discord’s ToS apply. While we’re not gonna be nannying the community, it’s for the best that you try not to be an outlaw. https://discordapp.com/terms

Anyone can remove you from this server. If you annoy people, prepare to be gone. To avoid this, some guidelines:
•Don’t spam
•Don’t harass, bully or discriminate
•Respect when being asked to stop
•Be a decent human being

Inactive members will be pruned regularly After 30 days of inactivity, you will be removed from this server automatically.

Admin and Moderator roles The admin is tasked with creating and maintaining the technical backbone of the community, allowing the moderators to do their job effectively and efficiently, and giving members a hassle-free experience on the server. The admin does not operate as a moderator.
•Manage server (name, image, region, notification settings, 2FA, emoji, webhooks, purging members, bots)
•Manage channels (sorting, deleting inactive channels)
•Manage roles
•Manage invites
•Manage moderators

The moderators enforce what few rules we have. Moderators may choose to remove the member role from a person if they deem it necessary to quickly shut someone down, but even they may not decide to kick or ban someone on their own - such an action must go through voting. Moderators are held accountable by both the admin and the community and may be forced to step down if they’re found to abuse their priviledge.
•Manage server (region, emoji)
•Assign and remove member role
•Manage roles
•Manage invites

Some reasonable situations in which moderators ought to remove the member role:
•Infringing the Discord ToS
•Spam, especially of graphical nature

Moderators and the admin are not babysitters. If you dislike someone, just !kick them.
