What we offer

As a software developer, you will be a part of our high tech IT Development Team that likes to innovate.

You will be able to participate in full projects’ life cycle from the design phase till production launch and will be a part of growing business and highly motivated team. We’re looking for junior to mid-level developers.

Work at Twino Tech Hub presents learning opportunities in all tiers of software development.

We use a lot of best-in-show technologies, some of them relatively new, like Kotlin, Docker, JUnit5 and Spring Boot, some of them proven by time, like Java, Git, Gradle, etc.

Comfortable office environment, we have games room, fresh fruit in the kitchen and of course all of the absolute necessities, like good coffee, tea and a swimming pool :)

Responsibilities

  • Turn business requirements into the best possible technical solutions.

  • Participate in the Agile work process.

  • Follow software craftsmanship principles.

  • Learn and improve.

  • Position is full-time (10:00 – 19:00), but we are flexible and do not micromanage.

Requirements (Junior)

  • Proficiency in written and verbal English (technical + general) and Georgian languages.

  • At least some experience with Java and HTML5+JavaScript development.

  • Passion for learning.

  • Familiarity with any RDBMS, like PostgreSQL, MariaDB/MySQL, Oracle, etc.

Requirements (Mid/Senior)

Note
 Having any of the following skills is also considered an advantage for a Junior applicant.

  • Feeling comfortable in agile/lean environment – Kanban, Scrum, TDD, pair programming, code reviews.

  • Ability to write comprehensive automated tests, both unit tests and integration/end-to-end.

  • Experience with distributed versioning systems (e. g. Git, Mercurial).

  • [Optional, but highly valued] Experience with modern Web development: Angular, AngularJS, WebPack, Gulp, etc.

  • Experience designing and implementing web APIs e.g. RESTful, SOAP.

  • Experience in working with and/or deploying on Linux based environments.

  • 1+ years experience with Spring Boot or recent version of JEE.

  • Strong knowledge of JPA.

  • Strong Java SE 8+ skills.
