**Power of self-reflection**
*What is challenging about self-reflection?
I believe perception is the main challenge with self-reflection. It can be difficult to step back, see blind spots and fairly evaluate our own behaviour and output.
*How can you continue to build the habit of self-reflection at Turing?
A habit is just a dicision you don't have to make anymore. To build a habit of self-reflection the act must be practiced again and again.
**Social identity mapping
**Describe one of your strengths

Resource managment. I have started two companies, run a farm, and worked in high finance. Sheparding limited resources is a skill of mine and something that I enjoy.
**What is something you know about (list some knowledge/expertise you have)?**
I am an expert in soil and plant science.
**What is something you have a natural ability to do well (list a talent)?**
I am a naturally gifted speaker.
What role does empathy play in your life and how has it helped you?
Empathy is the basis of understanding the world that surounds us. It is the tool that allows us to connect with experiences beyond our own. I find empathy to be a source of growth. It allows me to measure how small my experience, how large and diverse the experience of otheres are and how often there are many "right" ways to do something.
How does empathy help you build better software?
When a person, team, or organization sets out to accomplish a goal it becomes easy to form tunnel vision. We are so obsessed with our objective, which we are certain we are doing in the best way possible, we lose the forrest for the tree. When we hone so deeply in on the one thing it becomes easy to collaterally damage, or at least miss an oppourtunity to aid other groups of people or users of software. We miss oppourtunities because we never see problems that don't affect us personally.
Why is empathy important for working on a team?

Below are my survey results. I had three instead of four.
