* A Few obvious Dark Patterns
--Hotels.com gives it's phone number instead of the number for the hotel user is inspecting
--BitTorrent tries to get you to download malicious software as part of their install wizard

* Facebook's Dark Patter in Terms & Conditions
--Infamous for collecting users data and claiming ownership of it
--Recently took out legal jargon, lead to illegality in the EU
--Why not make it explicit and simple?... What decisions will you make in your websites?

Yeah I think the wrap up will be something like this: UX and Design isn't just about making things pretty there are ethical considerations as well. Ask yourself how you feel about these issues and how dark are you okay with your patterns being?
