How to extract voice files from cartridge, digital, NoNpDrm, Maidump, Vitamin, VPK, PKG, Zeus, PSARC of Zero no Kiseki Evolution

This guide assumes that you are working with the Japanese version of the game.
This guide is written so that it can be performed even if you do not know much about computers.
Following the steps in this guide will result in voice files you can use in the Geofront patch.
Please read the steps before performing them!

If you have a decrypted "data2.psarc" file, jump to section "data2.psarc".
If you have a cartridge version of the game and a Playstation Vita system with VitaShell installed, jump to section "Dumping the cartridge".
If you have an official digital, NoNpDrm, MaiDump or Vitamin installed version of the game and a Playstation Vita system with VitaShell installed, jump to section "Locating the installed files".
If you have a VPK file containing the game, jump to section "Extracting a VPK file".
Otherwise, jump to section "Extracting a PKG file".

Locating the cartridge files

  1. On your Playstation Vita, open VitaShell
  2. Press START
  3. Scroll to "SELECT button" option
  4. Change the option to "USB"
  5. Scroll to "Restart VitaShell" and select it
  6. Browse to gro0:
  7. Connect the USB cable to your computer
  8. Press SELECT
  9. On your computer, open the newly-mounted drive in a file explorer
  10. Open folder "app"
  11. Highlight folder "PCSG00042"
  12. Jump to section "Decrypting the files" using the folder highlighted in step 11 as reference.

Locating the installed files

  1. On your Playstation Vita, open VitaShell
  2. Press START
  3. Scroll to "SELECT button" option
  4. Change the option to "USB"
  5. Scroll to "Restart VitaShell" and select it
  6. Browse to ux0:
  7. Connect the USB cable to your computer
  8. Press SELECT
  9. On your computer, open the newly-mounted drive in a file explorer
  10. Open folder "app"
  11. Highlight folder "PCSG00042"
  12. If you have an official digital or NoNpDrm version of the game, jump to section "Decrypting the files" using the folder highlighted in step 11 as reference.
  13. Open folder "PCSG00042"
  14. Highlight file "data2.psarc"
  15. Jump to section "Extracting data2.psarc" using the file highlighted in step 14 as reference.

Extracting a VPK file

  1. Download and install 7-Zip.
  2. Locate the VPK file.
  3. Press the right mouse button on the VPK file
  4. Press the left mouse button on "Extract here"
  5. Wait for the process to finish
  6. Open folder "app"
  7. Highlight folder "PCSG00042"
  8. If you have a NoNpDrm version of the game, jump to section "Decrypting the files" using the folder highlighted in step 7 as reference.
  9. Open folder "PCSG00042"
  10. Highlight file "data2.psarc"
  11. Jump to section "Extracting data2.psarc" using the file highlighted in step 10 as reference.

Extracting a PKG file

  1. Download and extract pkg2zip.
  2. Locate "pkg2zip.exe"
  3. Locate the PKG file "JgLTOxfiKkGrfmjWmKFFLXNZbWCVjexagYTCusHekRGcBIMYHHHBgnUimygNrSTAIjAksHpRGTAoCMvduoPIGmjjPAchIumcOtBqz.pkg"
  4. In the file explorer window containing the PKG file, press the left mouse button on File
  5. Press the left mouse button on "Open command prompt"
  6. Drag and drop the file located in step 2 onto the command prompt window
  7. Press the spacebar on your keyboard once
  8. Type the following two characters: -x
  9. Press the spacebar on your keyboard once
  10. Drag and drop the file located in step 3 onto the command prompt window
  11. Press enter on your keyboard
  12. Wait for the process to finish
  13. Type the following nine characters: start app
  14. Press the enter key on your keyboard
  15. Highlight folder "PCSG00042"
  16. Jump to section "Decrypting the files" using the folder highlighted in step 15 as reference.

Decrypting the files

  1. Download psvpfsparser.
  2. Locate "psvpfsparser-win64.exe"
  3. Locate the folder "PCSG00042"
  4. In a file explorer window, press the left mouse button on File
  5. Press the left mouse button on "Open command prompt"
  6. Drag and drop the file located in step 2 onto the command prompt window
  7. Press the spacebar on your keyboard once
  8. Type the following two characters: -i
  9. Press the spacebar on your keyboard once
  10. Drag and drop the folder located in step 3 onto the command prompt window
  11. Press the spacebar on your keyboard once
  12. Type the following nine characters: -o output
  13. Press the spacebar on your keyboard once
  14. Press the left mouse button on the browser window containing this guide
  15. Highlight the contents in the following grey box: -z "KO5ifR1dQ+d7BRgYGprDbDExAtkf5Rrk7xrm7xMa4unvBzIDD3gyN+aboOafaIUZ9t9u1W78PRrjgxsAAAspFk4A"
  16. Hold down Ctrl on your keyboard
  17. Press the "C" key on your keyboard
  18. Lift your fingers from the Ctrl key on your keyboard
  19. Press the left mouse button on the command prompt window
  20. Press the right mouse button on the text area
  21. Press the left mouse button on "Paste"
  22. Press the enter key on your keyboard
  23. Wait for the process to finish
  24. Type the following twelve characters: start output
  25. Press the enter key on your keyboard
  26. Highlight file "data2.psarc"
  27. Jump to section "Extracting data2.psarc" using the file highlighted in step 24 as reference.

Extracting data2.psarc

  1. Download psarc-tool.
  2. Locate "psarc-tool.exe"
  3. Locate "data2.psarc"
  4. In a file explorer window, press the left mouse button on File
  5. Press the left mouse button on "Open command prompt"
  6. Drag and drop the file located in step 2 onto the command prompt window
  7. Press the spacebar on your keyboard once
  8. Type the following two characters: -x
  9. Press the spacebar on your keyboard once
  10. Drag and drop the file located in step 3 onto the command prompt window
  11. Press the enter key on your keyboard
  12. Wait for the process to finish
  13. Type the following twelve characters: start data2
  14. Press the enter key on your keyboard
  15. Open folder "data"
  16. Highlight folder "talk"
