In this I try to give a perspective on the changing influence of the (GAFA) tech companies. Very rough fragments which might trigger ponderings into interesting directions. After a long time of centralization, I think we now see the beginnings of decentralization. As the disadvantages of centralization become more and more apparent to developers and people in general. I view this process as a kind of transitioning process from the web2 to the web3 area.

"Why I left Google
The main reason I left Google is that they can no longer innovate. They’ve pretty much lost that ability. I believe there are several contributing factors, of which I’ll list four here."
"Googlers know this is happening and are as frustrated by it as you are, but their leadership is failing them." Time for experiments of a different kind of organizational structure? Distributed? Game Theory or Machine Learning Models?

Again the organizational structure seems a severely limiting point to the development of the individual.
Sharing (meta) data about how a company is run by contributing to a protocol and then in turn profiting from that if it helps other people-projects too?

BAT and a generational shift (old people kind of stuck new go to other places)
Is changing rapidly, applying certain principles of decentralization to itself and thus adopting and surviving. IF amazon is able to open the gates to space too, there might be enough room for longer, even sustainable growth.
Haven't had the badnwidth to follow how things went here.

"That’s why there is and will be an even greater pushback against the idea that a small group of companies and executives can reap vast rewards, dictate the architecture of the online, cloud, AI, and robotic worlds and maintain an insular, parochial, and narrow worldview marked by groupthink."
