Do you have any examples on how the request can be accepted and processed by a NodeJS application?

I think there's a bug on setting the charset. it needs to be:
writer.append("Content-Type: text/plain; charset="" + charset+""").append(LINE_FEED);

another thing,
on your php code it only retrieves the file $_FILES['uploaded_file'] (or uploadFile1) and not also the $_FILES[fileUpload'] (or uploadFile2)
