Capture Settings

This allows you to make some servers push-to-talk and others voice activated.

  1. Open Options (Alt-P).
  2. Under Captions, click the plus button under the Profiles list to create a new cature profile.
  3. Name the new profile, (for example, name it after the server the settings are for), and copy the default profile.
  4. Choose the desired settings for that server (push-to-talk, voice activation, etc.)
  5. Open the Bookmarks Manager (Ctrl-B) and select the server you are adding this capture profile to.
  6. Click the More button at the bottom.
  7. Set Capture Profile to the new settings profile.

Identities

Your gaming guild probably doesn't need your real name, prefering instead your character name, though you might want to use your real name with your friends.

It is worth noting that the Bookmarks Manager can override a number of settings, including those found in the identity profile.

  1. Open Identites (Ctrl-I)
  2. Add a profile and name it (this isn't displayed on the server).
  3. Set the desired nickname (this is displayed on the server).
  4. Open the Bookmarks Manager (Ctrl-B) and select the server you are adding this capture profile to.
  5. Click the More button at the bottom.
  6. Set Identity to the new identity profile.
