how did you spend your time this past week? What was effective in your habits?
I am making time early in the morning to revisit my calendar and re-asses my schedule as needed. They are days when we have 'work time' during the day and I am trying to utilize that time effectively.

This morning I made sure to structure my schedule and use the calendar application to organize my activitites.
- implementing the use of a time managment tool has proven to be succesful thus far, it as a habit I need to keep practicing but I can see the benefits already.
- What steps will you take to make that happen?

I can trace my joy for programming as early as at age of 5 when I enjoyed pulling apart and gluing back together small electronic. As I grew up I became interested on video games and computers, when I discovered the internet I was fascinated and enjoyed my time spending time figuring out how point and sxcel worked. I grew up curious of my surrounding and eager to understand more technologies.
I studied culinary arts and discovered that computers programs were highly used in the industry. I started again enjoying working with different programs and more precisely with programs that would control the data and design working spaces. After my studies I was able to help companies I worked for to, implement workflows, document operational systems, and consolidate data.
When I moved to Colorado I worked towards creating for myself an opportunity that would bring me closer to what I always envisioned myself doing, that is creating and staying curious about my surroundings. Ten years in the hospitality industry has showed me the importance of implementing industry stadars to meet the needs of our clients, that there is always room for improvement and that different technologies have changed the way the industry operates.
The impact technologies have on people's lives across different industries and my curiosity to understand how they work are what brought me to my current career path. I am looking forward to being able to grow as a professional and as a person as I find my way in this new industry.
