Week 2: [Link here to your gist]

Lint to cover letter

Writting a cover letter became quite the challenge since I had to think about the ways I bring value to a company. The biggest chalenge for me was to start changing the way I perceive myslef and the way I think I can present myself to potential employers. There are some days when this feels easier to accomplish than others. I tend to focus on the tehnical aspect of the hiring process and I don't take the time to plan and organize enough my material.

I am glad I am takig the time to reflec on this so I can be more awared of my owns areas of growth.

  • Review your cover letter with a peer some time this week. What feedback did your partner give you? What next steps will you take to make your cover letter even stronger?

  • I will be updating my cover letter when I get the feed from my peers.

  • If you were to apply to this position (and you should!), how will you customize your resume for it? What other next steps would you need to take here?

  • I tend to look at the key-words listed on the job post so I can use the same language they use for the position.

  • I have tried to connect with people from other companies but I haven't had luck with that, but my oplan is to sit down and ask for more ifnformation about the available position.
