Flashing OpenWrt onto D-Link DIR-842

  1. Connect the router using an Ethernet cable (use LAN port 1).
  2. Login to D-Link web interface in web browser http://192.168.0.1. Password in written at the bottom of the device

Upgrade Page
  1. Navigate to Management and press the "Select File" button in just like in the picture above:
  2. Choose openwrt-22.03.5-ath79-generic-dlink_dir-842-c2-squashfs-factory-TM_signed.bin and start flashing. Follow the instructions on the screen.
