Created by three of the world's greatest geniuses, the Box Weapons are technologically advanced weapons that see widespread use in the future. From the Future Arc onward, Box Weapons are incorporated into the series' fights. By channeling Dying Will Flames through a Dying Will Ring, a person can open a Box, as long as the Flame type matches the Box type. There are seven Box types, matching the seven types of Dying Will Flames. Sky Flames can open any box, however the result will be less powerful than it would be with the matching Flame. Boxes are used for the most part to store weapons or tools, typically fueled by Dying Will Flames. There are also Box Animals, Box Weapons based on animals with specific personalities and characteristics. Weapons after the Future Arc are also coated in or powered by Dying Will Flames boosting their power beyond normal levels.
