Regional Settings

Windows 7

  1. Start > Control Panel
  2. Region and Language
  3. On the Format tab change the Format: drop down to English (United States)
  4. On the Location tab change the Current location: drop down to United States
  5. On the Keyboards and Languages tab
    1. Click the Change keyboards... button
    2. On the General tab change the Default input language drop down to English (United States) - US
    3. On the General tab ensure the following lines are in the Installed services section English (United States) |_Keyboard |_US
    4. Click the OK button (to get out of Text Services and Input Languages)
  6. On the Administrative tab click the Change system locale... button
  7. Set the Current system locale: to English (United States)
  8. Press the OK button (to get out of Current System Locale)
  9. Press the OK button (to get out of Region and Language)
  10. Restart your computer.
