Checked means a fix has been written, not necessarily released yet.

Crashes

  • When another player disconnects during the Mission Failed screen. [released 2017-01-24]
  • When opening the achievements panel after opening a flyout menu.

Aliens

  • Shamans do not glow. [released 2017-01-24]
  • Antlion guards don't attack doors.
  • Antlion guard damage is incorrectly categorized as physics damage (crush) instead of alien damage (slash).
  • Carrier drones immediately infest marines that kill them within melee range. [released 2017-01-24]
  • Fixed flinching behavior on drones not clearing conditions correctly.
  • Added the ability for mappers to mark spawners as spawning at a random point within a volume and with a random offset to the alien's yaw.

Jacob's Rest

  • Fixed an out of bounds exploit in Landing Bay
  • Fixed shieldbugs being able to push players out of Cargo Elevator
  • Fixed several textures clipping through brushes on Cargo Elevator in the room with the pit
  • Fixed players being able to walk along the edge of the physics puzzle in Cargo Elevator
  • Applied Landing Bay and Cargo Elevator fixes to Landing Bay Practice
  • Fixed the rightmost segment of the Deima draw bridge being opened prematurely
  • Fixed several props in Rydberg Reactor having no collision
  • Fixed the elevator in Residential being accessible from above
  • Fixed an unintended ledge in Sewer Junction B5
  • Fixed uneven terrain in Timor Station causing players to get stuck when backtracking
  • Fixed parasites being able to walk over a large gap on the north edge of the rotating bridge in Timor Station

Dedicated Servers

  • Fixed dedicated game servers not performing anonymous Steam login. [released 2017-01-27]
  • Increased MAX_RATE from 30000 to 786432. [released 2017-01-27]
  • Set default sv_maxrate to 30000. [released 2017-01-27]
  • Hooked up sv_allow_wait_command. [released 2017-01-27]
  • Updated steamclient.dll, tier0_s.dll, and vstdlib_s.dll. [released 2017-01-28]
  • Fixed lobbies created by joining hibernating dedicated servers always having Jacob's Rest set as the current campaign regardless of map.

Bots

  • Fixed bots ignoring knockdown and stumble.
  • Bots will now use melee attacks if they can't shoot a nearby enemy.
  • Bots will now attack enemies if they are surrounded and far from the squad.
  • Bots run away in Communication Center / SynTek Hospital.
  • Bots are easily interrupted while welding.
  • Tears for Tarnor lacks marine hints.
  • Lana's Escape lacks marine hints.

Stats

  • Fixed the IAF Advanced Sentry Gun not recording shots that hit.
  • Fixed combat rifle stats being attributed to the devastator. [released 2017-01-24]
  • Fixed deathmatch mode not tracking weapon stats.
  • Added marine and weapon selection data for other squad members to the leaderboard.
  • The leaderboard now tracks which marines died during the mission.
  • Added tracking for best speedrun time per-difficulty.
  • Shotguns record every pellet as a shot fired, which skews accuracy.

Experience / Leveling

  • Promoting doesn't update other clients cache of level and promotion.
  • When a user's level is unknown, it displays as level 1.

Spectating

  • Lobby interface doesn't make it clear that if you ready without selecting a character you're in spectator mode.

Deathmatch

  • Added map cycle support. After the last mission in a deathmatch campaign is completed, it restarts from the first mission.
  • Consider nerfing certain weapons (explosives) in PvP.

Physics

  • Fixed not being able to place ammo under ceilings.
  • Fixed weapons on the ground not being affected by melee attacks.

Onslaught / Director

  • Fixed director considering disabled escape triggers when choosing a location to spawn aliens.
  • Added the ability for mappers to mark spawners as usable by the director.
  • alien_selection now supports disabling NPCs or spawn definitions based on env_global, objective, and asw_spawner states.
  • Added vscript functions: Director.GetIntensity(marine), Director.GetMaxIntensity(), Director.ResetIntensity(marine), Director.ResetIntensityForAllMarines(), Director.StartFinale().

Challenges

  • Energy Weapons: reduced the maximum ammo capacity of guns with 4 or fewer clips.
  • Fixed challenges set in the Create Singleplayer Lobby menu not carrying over into the lobby.
  • Added a full-screen challenge selection UI in lobbies.

Workshop

  • Added a workshop button to the main menu.
  • Fixed workshop addons not being detected in the lobby search. [released 2017-01-24]
  • Fixed workshop missions not being visible without a restart. [released 2017-01-24]
  • Fixed installing workshop addons not updating the audio cache. [released 2017-01-24]
  • Addons are no longer installed or uninstalled while connected to a server.

In-Game UI

  • Deathcam defaults should be reconsidered, current implementation kills game pacing.
  • Added support for medic and ammo warnings to the HUD.
  • "Reloading" text when your weapon is out of ammo is too small, hard to notice. Should be at least twice as big.
  • Fixed minimap not rotating with the camera.
  • Fixed chat not being scrollable during briefing and debriefing.
  • Made links in chat clickable.
  • Lobbies with non-workshop addons are no longer joinable if the addons are not installed.
  • Fixed "0 games" being displayed instead of a player count on the public games browser.
  • Fixed chat layout if the player hasn't entered a briefing lobby this session.
  • Fixed chat messages starting and ending with quotes having their quotes removed.

Menus

  • Game opens at 640x480 instead of native resolution/aspect ratio. [released 2017-01-27]
  • Resolution switcher requires user to know their aspect ratio.
  • "Friends Playing" readout keeps scrolling the same username over and over if only one friend is playing.
  • Default video mode should be "Windowed (Fullscreen)". [released 2017-01-27]
  • Find a way to store video.txt in the Steam Cloud while keeping it per-machine.
  • Improved menu navigation with a controller.
  • Added a game options menu under Options -> Multiplayer.
  • Fixed dedicated servers not appearing in the server browser. [released 2017-01-28]

Text / Translation

  • "Play Online" label used for spectating also, consider renaming to "Find Online Game" or something similar.
  • Inconsistent spelling on video settings. "Widescreen" vs. "Full screen". Use of "Windowed (No Border)" when industry has now standardized on "Windowed (Fullscreen)".
  • Unicode characters in player name shows up as "missing character" rectangle.
  • Fixed many spelling and grammar errors in Paranoia. [released 2017-01-27]
  • Challenge name in leaderboard title not translated.

Sound

  • Game weapon and alien squeals too loud, overshadow player dialog.
  • Game weapon and alien squeals too constant while on harder difficulty, game has no silent moments at all.
  • Voice volume is no longer affected by master volume.

Achievements

  • Rydberg Reactor Speed Run is unobtainable.
  • Consider making some achievements unobtainable in unofficial challenges / in unofficial campaigns / when the player does not play most of the mission.

wait, only drones attack doors. Ant. guards and Shieldbugs and all other aliens don't do this. So that's not a priority
