A small script to run as part of your bitbucket pipelines to deploy code from the Bitbucket repository into an external git repository, tested with Acquia so far. Configure SSH keys and the DEPLOY_URL variable in the BitBucket UI to make it work. Assumes a Drupal install in /docroot and node stuff in /app

How effectively delete a git submodule.

To remove a submodule you need to:

  • Delete the relevant section from the .gitmodules file.
  • Stage the .gitmodules changes git add .gitmodules
  • Delete the relevant section from .git/config.
  • Run git rm --cached path_to_submodule (no trailing slash).
  • Run rm -rf .git/modules/path_to_submodule (no trailing slash).
  • Commit git commit -m "Removed submodule "
  • Delete the now untracked submodule files rm -rf path_to_submodule

Unzip a file on one.com with PHP
<?php
$unzip = new ZipArchive;
$out = $unzip->open('file-name.zip');
if ($out === TRUE) {
$unzip->extractTo(getcwd());
$unzip->close();
echo 'File unzipped';
} else {
echo 'Something went wrong?';
