VRAD DTR

DTR: Define the Relationship

Project: VRAD

Group Member Names: Caleb and Kim

Goals and Expectations for the Project (What does each group member hope to get out of this project? What do we want to achieve as a team? How will we know that we're successful?):

Caleb: To extend my knowledge of React and create a portfolio ready project. Kim: Strong understanding of all learning goals.

Team strengths & collaboration styles:

Strengths: Good at learning new concepts, goal oriented, easy to communicate with, and positive. Collaboration style: Paired programming to setup the base. Divide and Conquer to implement features.

How we can use our strengths to overcome obstacles:

Cut down on distractions and wasted by time by calmly collaborating without getting discouraged. Use goals and learning to drive success.

Schedule Expectations:

Zero constraints. Except for when we need to work on our lightning talks and Turing portolios.

Communication Expectations (How and often will we communicate? How do we keep lines of communication open? How will we make decisions as a team?):

All lines open 24/7. Make decisions as one.

Abilities & Growth Expectations (Technical strengths and areas for desired improvement):

Well structured, DRY code base.

Workload Expectations (What features do we each want to work on?):

All.

Workflow Expectations:

Meaningful/quality commits. Detailed PRs using a template, and review each others PRs. Branches for each block of work. Log issues as they come.

Expectations for giving and receiving feedback:

Open to feedback always. Deliver with empathy in mind.

Project management tools we will use:

Trello

Signs of unproductive struggles:

Caleb: Trying to do more than whats needed before finishing whats needed. Procrastination. Kim: Taking tooooooo long a POM :( Seeking a quick answer vs learning the answer. Distracted (darn internet and its things).
