: LCV Launches $1.5 Million "Flat Earth Five" Program to Defeat Five Climate Deniers
The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) announced this week the launch of a new $1.5 million program aimed at defeating five climate change deniers in the House of Representatives this election cycle. Reps. Ann Marie Buerkle (NY-24) and Dan Benishek (MI-1) are the first candidates named to the program, called the "Flat Earth Five." A new House incumbent will be named to the program each week over the next three weeks.
