Simple Bash script to deploy a Laravel App
#!/bin/bash
version=`php artisan --version`
if [[ ${version} != *"Laravel Framework"* ]]; then
echo "Not a Laravel app, exiting."
exit;
fi
# Turn on maintenance mode
php artisan down || true
# Pull the latest changes from the git repository
# git reset --hard
# git clean -df
git pull origin main
# Install/update composer dependecies
composer install --no-interaction --prefer-dist --optimize-autoloader --no-dev
# Run database migrations
php artisan migrate --force
# Clear caches
php artisan cache:clear
# Clear and cache routes
php artisan route:cache
# Clear and cache config
php artisan config:cache
# Clear and cache views
php artisan view:cache
# Turn off maintenance mode
php artisan up
