Also to notes; We are still reporting iStats & Chartbeat correctly, so there will be no affect on anaylitics.

The BBC Three team, along with collaboration from UX&D, have built an open sourced re-useable implementation of BBC cards.

Our GitHub repo contains all the modular front-end code you need to get started quickly and easily.

We hope that this will enable teams who wish to integrate cards in to their existing products, or build new ones, will be able to pick this up and go. Re-use FTW!

JavaScript Application Engineer

PURPOSE OF ROLE

We are looking for superb developers who will be involved in the development of the new BBC Three proposition with a focus on large scale Javascript Applications based on Node.JS and React.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Production experience with NodeJS
  • Production experience with React / isomorphic Javascript

We are looking for superb and enthusiastic Fron-end developer who will be involved in the design, development and support of BBC Three.

For success in this role we would need you to have the following: Demonstrable detailed knowledge and understanding of development and design experience using HTML, CSS and Javascript.

Skills

  • Extensive HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript development experience.
  • An ability to code in a modular or component based way.
