For people looking to change the image you must ensure your CORS permissions are correct for the images you want to use. If you are just testing on CodePen you need to ensure you are using images with open AllowedHeaders and an origin that includes cdpn.io

Here are some Docs about how you can do it with Amazon s3 Buckets

With Amazon s3 buckets you will also need to add this to you bucket policy (replace [PATH OF YOUR BUCKET]):
