A paella recipe

Cookie's Paella 🍪🥘


Serving size 4



  • 2 Chicken breast (Diced)
  • ½ Chorizo (Sliced, quartered)
  • 150g Prawns
  • 20 Calamari rings
  • 1 Onion (Chopped)
  • 1 Red pepper (Chopped)
  • 1 Yellow pepper (Chopped)
  • 150g Peas
  • 1 Litre chicken stock
  • 250g Paella rice
  • 1tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1tsp Ground tumeric
  • 1tsp Crushed chillies
  • 1tsp Paprika
  • 1tsp Garlic

Serving Suggestion

  • Nice Bread


  1. Fry the onion and peppers for a few minutes until soft
  2. Add the chicken, chorizo for a few minutes until the chicken starts to brown
  3. Add in the rice, then add the garlic, crushed chillies, cayenne pepper, ground tumeric and paprika and then give it a good stir
  4. Add the chicken stock and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally
  5. Add in the peas, prawns and calamari and cook for a further 5 minutes
