The Block feature in the Lobby Chat doesn't work*:

This has been an issue since day one and Blizzard doesn't care.

(Multiple patches have come and gone without addressing this simple issue. Currently unfixed in Patch 1.0.7)

All of the accounts listed below were found to be spamming chat lobbies continusly with likes to RMT websites.

The spam will most likely never end. I doubt very much Blizzard will do anything about it. The spamers are able to create unlimited accounts under one copy of the game using consoles, as such it seems pointless to continue updating this list as they're never ending, and I /ignore 5-10 of these accounts daily within just minutes of lobby time.

Fun fact, you can currently only ignore a maximum of 100 accounts, and the /unignore feature is broken, so you're up the creek without a paddel once you hit that limit.

Now, when I say that the Block feature in the lobby doesn't work, I'm reffering to the Lobby Chat. If you right click on a character in the bottom of the lobby you will again find a block option, and it actually works here, that is to say if you haven't reached the limit for the number of accounts you can ignore. Because that's all the Block feature is, it's "/ignore" aka "/squelch".

Now I feel like I should mention that durring peak times, good luck finding the offending character image in the lower part of the lobby, there's just to much jitter with users coming and going making it nearly impossible to block some users this way.

And because the kind folks at Blizzard don't know how to properly design a UI (Like say adding a feature like Clicking a name in chat to place it in the lobby chat box), we're stuck trying to type out and guess cryptic names like TYlwlpYuI, which thanks to the chat font style isn't as easy as here, since you can't tell an I from an l in the lobby chat.

How to BLOCK or IGNORE/SQUELCH a user.

To ignore a Spam Bot, type /ignore x where x = the name of the spammer. There is no need to perform a /whois first to get the account name.

If you get a message "No users matched the information provided. Please specify a player name or BattleTag", make sure you spelled the name correctly or just wait and try again as they will go offline so you can't ignore them.

Known Issues:

There seems to be an issue where when changing servers, accounts on your ignore list are not ignorable on the other server.
