[DEPRECATED] How to save your favorite GIFs on Discord

EDIT: These steps no longer work as Discord has changed their method of storing GIFs.

  1. Hit Ctrl + Shift + I while Discord is focused to open the Developer Console. explorer_JdrD40KOk9

  2. Click on the double arrows at the top and click the Application option Discord_bEYukgXZ2N

  3. Under the Storage section on the left side, click on Local Storage to open the arrow and click on https://discord.com. image

  4. Scroll down to GIFFavoriteStore key, and double click the Value field to make it editable. Discord_4oCtGzFcjB

    If you're making a backup, copy the entire value into a Notepad text and save it someplace safe. image

    If you're restoring, copy the value you have in your Notepad into this field and hit Enter.

  5. If you're restoring, restart Discord.
