Akeen P'Trell's Bio
Born in 2362, at Andoria, the eldest of the P'Trell brothers, Akeen P'Trell was destined to follow in the family's footsteps. In 2367, around stardate 44002.3, the forces of the Federation engaged the Borg Cube directed towards Earth to begin its assimilation, in the infamous battle of Worf 359. Akeen's father a veteran Starfleet captain despite commanding a science vessel in a survey mission, having received word of the battle ensuing at Worf 359, decided to assist in the battle. Unfortunately, he had insisted in bringing along his eldest son Akeen, so that from such a young age, the boy would be familiar to the environment of a starship and what it means to serve as starship captain in Starfleet. The ship arrived late in the battle, when most of the fleet had been destroyed. Seeing the battle was already lost, he decided to rescue as many survivors as he could before heading back to Earth. Not even that was possible! In a matter of minutes, the Borg cube started capturing and assimilating many surviving ships, including Captain P'Trell's. In the aftermath of the battle, the fate of the boy was unknown. The fate of the P'Trell lineage rested now on the shoulders of the unborn Thoris P'Trell. Thirty years later, Vice Admiral Thoris P'Trell took part in the efforts to repel the new Borg invasion, partly to avenge his family's great loss and dishonour, partly for the very survival of the Federation and everything and everyone he holds dear. At Khitomer, in an away team mission, in one of many Borg alcoves, there he found his long lost older brother, whose fate he had never known. Against all odds, he managed to bring him back to the USS Adamastor. With crucial evidence retrieved from Khitomer about the Isolinear Molecular Reconverter, Akeen's assimilation was reversed and now Admiral Thoris faces the challenge of meeting his stranger yet familiar brother, who now calls himself One of Many (the first among the many of the Federation).
