Not sure whether you want long-form or short-form, so here's some random
selections:
First, from my active, large project (implementation of an experimental
language, http://ell.io/tt$Paws.js/tree/Current%2B):
- Random excerpt (yes, it's CoffeeScript; old choice, technical debt):
<http://ell.io/tt$Paws.js/blob/b3a88b96/Source/datagraph.coffee#L383-L475>
- POSIX-sh excerpt:
<http://ell.io/tt$Paws.js/blob/6151ecbb/Scripts/test.sh>
- Recent changelog:
<http://ell.io/tt$Paws.js/commits/queueless%2B>
If CoffeeScript isn't your jam (it shouldn't be anyone's. it's
terrible. In numerous ways.), here's some, unfortunately much older,
examples of work in other languages:
- C: <http://ell.io/tt$Paws.c/blob/Master/Source/Metadata/Metadata.c>
- Objective-C: <http://ell.io/tt$Solcounter.menu/blob/Master/YRSolcounter.m>
- plain JS: <https://github.com/Paws/upaws.js/blob/Master/µpaws.js> (rather ugly.)
- HTML / DOM: <http://ell.io/tt$elliottcable.name/blob/master/resume.xhtml>
- Patch submission to others' projects:
<https://github.com/git/git/compare/b5c26758...ELLIOTTCABLE:author-order+>
I don't expect you to read all of those, heh. The newer stuff above
hopefully exemplifies my current skill-set and taste in building good
software, but hopefully even the older things should show the skills
necessary to place into the more advanced courses ...
