There were a few issues that meant I had to edit the svg files.

  • The SVG for the rainbow logo (which is where I got everything else) hid the rainbows from the middle using a white square; this might not look so great on backgrounds with other colors, so I removed it and just clipped the rainbows. Also, the lines coming out around the edges were done in some way that I don't understand and couldn't be imported into inkscape, so I had to redo those.
  • In the CHIP text, the individual letters were composed of multiple lines, that weren't quite evenly aligned, and a couple of the dots on the edges of the letters were off slightly; to fix this, I merged everything into a single path, and removed some extra points.
  • In the NextThingCo logo as seen at the bottom of their website, there was no svg source, so I had to trace the bitmap given. Unfortunately, inkscape the underlines overlay several of the letters, and I didn't want extra curves where they meet, so I had to actually edit out some of this. Therefore, this logo does not quite match what you see at the bottom of their website.
  • The NextThingCo logo with the double circle and the chip inside was found on their github. I haven't edited the form, just the formatting (I merged everything into one path, and fixed the chip icon that didn't import properly)
