Do you think exporting to APNG/WebP/JPEG XL could be possible to preserve the correct framerates of the animated DSi icons?

@TheLavrov did you mean to comment on bannergif.py?

If Pillow supports any of those it should be as simple as changing the output format, I never looked into that at all as GIF was just convenient enough for me to deal with it

Whoops, yes. My mistake. Thanks for the reply though, I'll stare at it a bit.

I took a look and it seems the output parameters should be the same so I think the only change needed should be making it not set a minimum of 20ms if the extension isn't .gif

Just changing the output extension when calling it should work besides that, probably
