SwiftUI Grid Animation
import SwiftUI
// 1. Use looped H/VStacks to create a grid
// 2. Conditionally increase spacing to grow/shrink the grid
// 3. Calculate the distance of each dot to the center and use the value to stagger the animation

ESP32 as Bluetooth Keyboard

ESP32 as Bluetooth Keyboard

With its built-in Bluetooth capabilities, the ESP32 can act as a Bluetooth keyboard. The below code is a minimal example of how to achieve it. It will generate the key strokes for a message whenever a button attached to the ESP32 is pressed.

For the example setup, a momentary button should be connected to pin 2 and to ground. Pin 2 will be configured as an input with pull-up.

In order to receive the message, add the ESP32 as a Bluetooth keyboard of your computer or mobile phone:

  1. Go to your computers/phones settings
  2. Ensure Bluetooth is turned on

Automatic Git commit signing with GPG on OSX
# In order for gpg to find gpg-agent, gpg-agent must be running, and there must be an env
# variable pointing GPG to the gpg-agent socket. This little script, which must be sourced
# in your shell's init script (ie, .bash_profile, .zshrc, whatever), will either start
# gpg-agent or set up the GPG_AGENT_INFO variable if it's already running.
# Add the following to your shell init to set up gpg-agent automatically for every shell
if [ -f ~/.gnupg/.gpg-agent-info ] && [ -n "$(pgrep gpg-agent)" ]; then
source ~/.gnupg/.gpg-agent-info
export GPG_AGENT_INFO

Adobe tries to strong-arm me into keeping Creative Cloud

To everyone who got here through Twitter or Facebook or Hacker News or whatever: THIS IS NOT ME.

The "Me" in this transcript is @raddevon, who shared his story first on reddit.
