Dates: from November 2017 to September 2020
The last one from the list: version 2.4.0.0 (48506) works on macOS Mojave (10.14.6)

Thank you very much @zymfer...
This version (48506) also works on my Mojave 10.14.6, it fixed this error that I had been getting for a few weeks:

postgres_1 | ls: cannot access '/docker-entrypoint-initdb.d/': Operation not permitted

With the previous version (26764), I can run docker build..., but I can't run docker run.

@changchanglccc No need to run any old Docker for Monterey compatibility, most recent update from official site still works just fine for me. (Nonetheless you should install the latest Monterey 12.7.x update of macOS that contains many fixes incl. security, it's still getting important fixes in updates… and anyone running older Monterey than 12.5 also note that you're missing on features/improvements in Docker features and compatibility so you should try to run the latest Monterey available for best Docker experience!)

Hello, what are the rules for mapping the Docker Desktop versions to the macOS versions? I'm using macOS Big Sur 11.7.10. Which Docker Desktop version for mac should I use? What do you recommend. Thank you

what are the rules for mapping the Docker Desktop versions to the macOS versions?

Open https://docs.docker.com/desktop/release-notes/ and look for compatibility notes.

In your case search for "Minimum OS version to install or update Docker Desktop on macOS is now macOS Monterey (version 12) or later" that means 4.25.0 is something you can't run. You have to go one below: 4.24.2

I'm using macOS Big Sur 11.7.10. Which Docker Desktop version for mac should I use?

https://docs.docker.com/desktop/release-notes/#4242 — you have both x64 and ARM links there.

on https://docs.docker.com/desktop/release-notes/ the docker 4.24.2 dmg download is no longer provided.
Currently 4.9.1 and 4.29.0 - 4.34.2 are available.
For my Mac OS 11.7.10 I'm using 4.9.1 now, but I'd prefer 4.24.2.
So if anyone has a link, it would be much appreciated.
