TopoJSON Collection

Converted to TopoJSON from original shapefiles, GeoJSON, etc. as noted in the source. All files are believed to have been converted from sources that are licensed for reuse or which are in the public domain. If you find a file and believe that its original source is not licensed for this type of use, please create an Issue in this repository.

Please make sure that you click through the links below and download the RAW version of each TopoJson file. Do not right-click on the links below and Save As.

Links are not working. When I click on them it takes me to a new tab which says 404 this is not the web page you are looking for.

These files are very old. The block came from BlockBuilder, a d3.js site that is no longer working.

Most content is available at https://observablehq.com/@d3

FYI: You can find many shapefiles at https://www.diva-gis.org/gdata and change them using https://mapshaper.org/ to topoJSON or geoJSON.

You can simply download the shapefiles and drag & drop them in mapshaper (an online tool) and select an output type you like.

You can also easily compress these files , making for smaller downloads or simplify them using mapshaper.

Is there anyway to get access to these old files. I was able to bring these to power bi and they worked perfectly.
