Top Priorities

I am looking for a junior developer position with a salary between $60K and $70K and full health benefits, preferably in/around Denver, preferably in an industry related to space research/exploration, politics/law (criminal), or music consumption/distribution/production, preferably in a small-to-medium sized organization where I would have a higher level of influence.

  • Practice talking points so that covering them can be more naturally conversational

  • Realize that it may be less about knowing the answers, and more about your thought process & communication skills
  • Research before hand (e.g., what languages does the company use)
  • Perform mock interviews as practice
  • Improv class

  • Lying/Embellishing to appear unique/special

Action Steps

  • Write your story in long form, then summarize it, then summarize the summary, and so on until you have a concise "sell"
