Buying Tapped Out EDH decks from Cardhoarder

How to purchase and import EDH decks from Tapped Out & Cardhoarder

  1. Find the deck you want to purchase or import on Tapped Out. For example, this
  2. On the deck page, click the "Download/ Export/ Embed" button in the left sidebar.
  3. Select "Text (.txt)" to download the decklist, open the file in a text editor, we'll use this file in a the next steps.
  4. Close the download modal, and again in the left sidebar, click the "Cardhoarder" button.
  5. This will open the cardhoarder website, and populate the deck, although cards will be missing.
  6. Click the "Clear" button, followed by the "Import Deck" button.
  7. In the "Import Deck List" text field, paste the contents of the text file you downloaded earlier.
  8. Once the deck has loaded, verify that all 100 cards have been imported.
  9. Before proceeding, click the "Download" button, this will download the deck in a .dek file for MTGO.
  10. If you want to purchase the deck, follow these steps, if not, skip to the MTGO import steps.
  11. Click the "Remove basic lands" button, as well as the "Optimize" and "Remove owned cards" buttons.
  12. Add the resulting cards to your cart, and check out.
  13. Once you have the cards in your collection, create a new deck in MTGO.
  14. Click the "import" button and select the .dek file you downloaded earlier.
  15. Name your deck, ensure the format is set to "Commander" and click "Ok".
  16. Find your commander in the deck list, and move it to the commander section on the right hand side of the screen.
  17. Right click anywhere on the deck list, and select "Update with version(s) in collection".
  18. Have fun!
