Here are some good options for your next night stop:
Björnlandet is an officialy recognized national park, which means it's being maintained by the state and not just the province.
The park is quite big and you can have fun for a good day or 3 if you want to explore everything.
- There are huts, that can be used freely (though be open to sharing your space with others) for up to 3 days.
- There are marked tent places with basic supplies (wood, etc.).
- There are toilets.
- There is a lake where you can wash yourself clean.
- There are small rivers with drinkable water (things marked as "bäcken").
- The park is perfectly mapped.
- The roads to the park are pretty ok
- No electricity
- You are in the wild, quite far away from civilization
- The park is an exception to the right to camp. so you can only camp at map-marked places
You can buy a park-map at any survival store or outlet in sweden (look for Naturkompaniet or XXL).
I will be naming things from the high quality map.
Enter the park via "Entré Angsjö", put some bags on your back and walk to "Angsjökojan" by going around the lake via the north (shortest route, since your bags will be heaviest on day one). You can then put up your tents in "Angsjökojan" have a swim and light the stove in the hut to warm water, etc. Open fires are still forbidden in the park, so the stove inside is your saviour.
If your kids need to loose some energy after the car-drive, drop your lugage in the stuga, then walk north-west up to "Björnberget" from where you will get the view seen in the picture above.
On day 2 you walk the southern route, you can fill up your cans of water en-route and enjoy the views back to the parking.

Mårdseleforsen is quite litterally located in the middle of a river. It's a subset of small islands and forest areas. It's also incredibly pretty with the fast-flowing rivers
- There are toilets.
- There is a river where you can clean yourself up
- There is a restaurant at the parking where you can get coffee and charge some phones.
- There is a small town nearby
- no marked tent places, tent somewhere and make sure you clean after yourself.
- It's quite popular.
- Fire of any kind is forbidden.
- Google maps navigation link of the parking place
- Map of the park: buy it at the restaurant or ask owner for directions.
- info of the park
- walk south from the parking
