My personal story shared with the world. I hope it is inspirational and motivates others to realize that life is too short to limit themselves...

Upgrade Yourself

Imagine being born into this world on the living room floor, the sun masked by shadows of cockroaches on the window drapes. Imagine being failed by your education, and searching, longing for a mentor to never find one. Imagine being able to take all of this hardship and struggle and put it behind you and choose to upgrade yourself into the person you want to be. The kind of person you are proud of. That's what I did, and I'd like to help you do the same thing.

I've upgraded myself countless times, all the while keeping tally. Regardless of where you are in your career, this talk serves as an example of how you can do better. I'll highlight a clear path - where every challenge is an opportunity. From blogging to speaking. From open-source contributions to stackoverflow Q & A. From attending conferences to organizing them. You'll see how becoming a social developer can launch your career to the next level.
