The goal of this project was to improve end-to-end testing infrastructure of React Native client.

All tasks mentioned in initial proposal were completed on time and also some new features were implemented and bugs fixed.

Completed tasks

Phase 1.

• [CHORE] Make e2e pass on CircleCI and add docs
• [TESTS] update detox to 12.9.0; fix 03-forgotpassword, 12-joinpublicroom specs
• [TESTS] Fix iOS tests
• [FIX] Profile update
• [FIX] Profile screen gets frozen when submitting invalid current password
• [FIX] Broadcast channel is not readonly

Phase 2.

• [CI] Restore cache on CI
• [TESTS] Configure detox for android tests
• [CI] create job with e2e-build and save workspace for e2e-test
• [Chore] [CI] [TESTS] update detox to make CI pass

Phase 3.

• [FEATURE] implement unread count on header back button
• [CHORE] Bugsnag logging setup
• [FEATURE] Share app
• [TESTS] Develop tests for directory view
• [IMPROVEMENT] Use expo video player
