Barefoot Nomad API / Web Service, Aug - Sept 2019

  • This is an open source NodeJS API that enables a company's nomads (staff) book their international travels and accommodation globally; easily and conveniently across all the locations/centers where the company has its operations. This API was built by a distributed team consisting of six developers, a technical lead, a project manager and a learning facilitator using the popular agile methodology. During this project, I was involved in several soft skill sessions on topics such as communication, stakeholder management, problem solving, growth mindset and relationship building which were all required for the final grading. I served as sprint lead for one of the sprint periods and had an overall score of 90% for engineer readiness.
