  • When you've worked towards a goal in the past, what systems or tools have been helpful for you in accomplishing that goal? How could you adapt those same systems/tools to use while at Turing?

    • I'm a pretty organized and responsible person, so for me, when there's a problem or hurdle, I would remind myself to keeo my eyes on the prize.. That way, I can snap myself out of whatever it is I'm feeliing and try to figure out how to fix things or how to move forword and to archive the goals.
  • As you start this new career, what is one of your strengths and how do you know?

  • I think it's my previouse work experinces. I've worked for over over a decade, so I have assembled a lot of skills within the jobs

###Reflect

  • What were your reflections from the video?

    • My first reflection was that I was guilty of it. I think it's because our eyes and brain are connected. When you see something or someone, our brain immediately makes an assumption of it/them based on our experinces and the worst is that we are not even aware of doing it.
    • Another one is that how often the biases turn to not be true. Naturally, that is how our brain is wired to judge or make an assumption of something or worse someone, so it's important to be mindful of that and go in with an open mind.
  • In what ways have you examined your implicit biases before coming to Turing?
