NetRot does not collect, store, share, or sell any personal user data. Use of the extension is entirely private.
Website Content Usage
NetRot accesses the text content (movie titles) of the web pages you visit on Netflix.com solely for the purpose of querying the Open Movie Database (OMDB) API to retrieve rating information. This data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to any third-party servers other than the OMDB API for the single purpose of fetching ratings.
External Services
NetRot communicates with the OMDB API (omdbapi.com) to fetch public movie rating data. Please refer to OMDB's privacy policy for information on how they handle API requests.
